Fort San Pedro, the oldest triangular fortress in the country built in 1565. Magellan’s Cross, planted in April 14, 1521 by Ferdinand Magellan. Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, built by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi in 1565, now housing the statuette of Santo Niño. Casa Gorordo Museum, former house of the first bishop of Cebu. The Taoist Temple, located at Beverly Hills overlooking the city of Cebu and Mactan.ISLAND HOPPING TOUR WITH LUNCH (OPTIONAL TOUR ) : A visit to Cebu is not complete without exploring the islands of Mactan on board a local motorized banca. Swim or snorkel off the Islands of Hilutungan and Nalusuan. Have a barbeque lunch at Nalusuan Island. Make a short stop in Liloan for a taste of Cebu’s famous delicacies. SOUTH CEBU COUNTRYSIDE TOUR WITH LUNCH ( OPTIONAL TOUR ) : Southern Cebu’s Highlight is the town of Carcar, known for its delicacies and ancestral houses. Visit the town’s market, known for “chicharon and lechon carcar”. Also visit the Parish Church, and go around the town’s street where many ancestral houses are found. A must stop is the Shrine of the Virgin of Perelos on top of a hill overlooking the countryside.
